Osteopath specialising in headache treatments

Is your headache a pain in the neck?

Are your migraines ruining your life?

Are your headaches worrying you?

Would you like a clear diagnosis for your headaches?

And a treatment pathway based on the latest evidence?

Why not give me a call? I will listen to you, help to establish a diagnosis, and see whether my approach is a good “fit” for you. If you decide to go ahead, I will examine you (in loose, light clothing), making sure your headaches are safe for me to treat, and if treatment is indicated, I will try to reduce your headache frequency and severity using a gentle manual therapy approach combined with scientifically-backed non-medical options known to help headache disorders. This could involve nutritional changes, relaxation techniques, or specific exercises for headache prevention. It might mean bringing a colleague on board such as a sleep coach. If your headaches are very debilitating, it could mean I suggest referring you to a doctor specializing in headache management.

My name is Helena Bridge. I am an experienced London osteopath, with a master’s in Clinical management of Pain & Headache Disorders from the University of Edinburgh. I attend regular conferences and courses to keep my knowledge up to date. I am involved in headache education at two world-renowned osteopathy colleges, where I lead headache training clinics, and a third where I design and deliver post-graduate short courses. Medical headache specialists in London and the South-East of England recommend me to their patients.

I work at Putney Osteopaths, only 20 minutes from where my colleague Richard Katesmark formerly ran his Headache Clinic in Ewell. He is now retired and has recommended his patients to me.
